Brooklyn Heights Music Together® Classes offered by Naomi's Music are grouped into 4 sessions: 3 ten-week sessions fall, winter and spring, and a 6-week summer session
Each session has classes during the day as well as a PAJAMA TIME class. During the fall, winter, and spring sessions, these classes are on Thursdays. During the summer, the classes are on Wednesdays. Pajama Time is moving to 6:15pm starting summer 2012. For the spring 2012 session, classes are at 6:45pm.
All sessions consist of weekly 45-minute classes that include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play.
These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences--
developmentally appropriate for children and accessible to parents and caregivers.
The modeling of adults is essential to the musical development of the children--regardless of their own musical ability. So everybody has to sing and dance!
2 CDs, a DVD/guide entitled,"Music Together at Home: Helping Your Child Grow Musically" and a Songbook are included in the registration price.
